Rebranding St. Jakob Foundation
Less is more – a brand presence that speaks without being loud.
As part of a comprehensive rebranding, I visually and strategically repositioned the St. Jakob Foundation within a year. From the smallest detail, such as the labeling, to the complete redesign of the website and online shop, every element was rethought and consistently implemented.
The challenge:
Modernizing a traditional foundation with a social mission without losing its identity, while simultaneously appealing to a new, younger target group.
The solution:
A holistic brand presence that radiates clarity, trust and contemporary style.
The new design concept is based on the principles: less is more, form follows function, and authenticity instead of overload.
What was implemented:
Corporate Design Refresh: New color and typography system, reduced design elements, more white space.
Print media: brochures, packaging and labels with a clear, timeless look.
Digital presence: Completely redesigned website including an accessible structure and a user-friendly webshop.
Digital business card: A central platform for initial contact, mobile-optimized, quick to scan and with a strong design.
Why this step was necessary:
The previous visual language was outdated, difficult for younger users to access, and visually cluttered. The rebranding not only broadened the target audience but also modernized the foundation's image. A clear, dynamic look builds trust, creates brand recognition, and reflects the values the foundation embodies: quality, transparency, and social responsibility .
Result:
A brand identity that endures. Reduced to the essentials, without losing its impact. Modern, but not trendy. Clear, but not cold.
